Nacido en Sheffield el nueve de junio de 1951, el británico sólo ha sido conocido por ser uno de los miembros fundadores de la banda Saxon y por su corta militancia en Motörhead. Inició su carrera profesional en 1976 como baterista de The Glitter Band. Dos años después y junto a Biff Byford, Graham Oliver, Paul Quinn y Steve Dawson fundaron la banda Saxon donde permaneció hasta 1981. Pero antes de iniciar la gira promocional del álbum Denim and Leather se lastimó la mano derecha lo que no le permitió tocar la batería durante un largo proceso de tiempo. En su reemplazo entró Nigel Glockler. Tras recuperarse de su lesión ingresó posteriormente en Motörhead, donde participó en la grabación de los álbumes: No Remorse (1984), The Birthday Party (1985) y Orgasmatron (1986), hasta que un año después se fugó del Lemmy's world. ResponderEliminarTheir lone (only one album) with 1972 this German hard rock outfit with an English vocalist,combined elements from multiple extant and budding rock subgenres to construct their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal.
Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
