El Delta blues siempre tuvo un pariente cercano que permaneció oculto hasta que un devoto historiador lo dio a conocer en un documental para que el Hill Country Blues de a conocer sus excelsas credenciales. El Deep Blues de Robert Palmer fue propicio al revelar un genero que venia acompañado de singulares interpretes entre los que se destacaban Junior Kimbrough y R.L Burnside. Pero tal suceso no hubiese tenido la magnitud lograda sin la aparición en escena de Fat Possum que a la postre se convertiría en el sello de los "septuagenarios" como Charles Caldwell, Asie Payton y T-Model Ford. Cuando el nuevo siglo arrancaba un empleado de la construcción que por las noches complacía a la concurrencia de un bar en Memphis recibió la propuesta de esculpir su primera creación para la firma de Matthew Johnson en Oxford, Mississippi; con sesenta años de edad y cuatro décadas poniendo el lomo desde el alba no dudo un instante . Robert Belfour o como se lo conocía "Wolfman" habí...

ResponderEliminarTheir lone (only one album) with 1972 this German hard rock outfit with an English vocalist,combined elements from multiple extant and budding rock subgenres to construct their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal.
Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
