Nuestro invitado de hoy tomó su nombre de una tienda de ropa vintage llamada "Reddog". GUITAR WORLD incluyó a Reddog en el artículo: “Quién es quién del blues / 50 bluesmen que importan”. En 2010 fue nombrado mejor intérprete del International Blues Challenge en Memphis, Tennessee. Reddog (Jeff Higgins) comienza a tocar la guitarra al finalizar la escuela secundaria. Gran parte de la infancia de Reddog transcurrió en Virginia y la costa de Carolina del Norte. Se traslada a Atlanta para actuar un diversos clubs de la zona. Se le podía ver con asiduidad en el Fuzzy's Place y el Blues Harbor. Su primer disco, "Reddog", llega en 1986. Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
