En los finales 70, la industria discográfica reclamaba milagros. Bandas que venían de una educación musical completamente distinta, ahora se les exigía amoldarse a unos tiempos más simples, casi infantiles. Que se les cediera esa facultad de exigir tonterías a los lerdos ejecutivos, fue ponerse la losa en la tumba. Y gran culpa la tuvo el punk y la new wave. Tendencias que curiosamente, no vendían tanto como para hacer cambiar el planteamiento global de todo cristo. Una falta de respeto enorme, hacia el creador. Y una bajada de pantalones de éstos, que les costó muy cara. Así las cosas, las prog bands, y concretamente hoy hablo de Alemania, tuvieron que crear una nueva ramificación en su ya frondoso árbol estilístico. Sellos como Sky Records lo promulgaron: Ramses, Harlis, Bullfrog, Streetmark, Shaa Khan, Straight Shooter..... Otros más grandes, de superiores ligas, tuvieron que ponerse ése ceñido traje que limitaba sus inquietudes musicales. Temas que necesitaban diez minut...

ResponderEliminarTheir lone (only one album) with 1972 this German hard rock outfit with an English vocalist,combined elements from multiple extant and budding rock subgenres to construct their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal.
Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
