¿Conoces esa frase de Nelson Rodrigues sobre el "complejo de mestizo"? No tengo nada en contra de los perros, y lo siento Nelson Rodrigues, pero aprecio a los mestizos; son animales adorables, y que te comparen con ellos no es para nada despectivo, todo lo contrario. Pero no es precisamente de estos temas de los que me gustaría hablar; no es ni más ni menos que una simple metáfora, porque tenemos la triste costumbre de menospreciarnos, de humillarnos a nosotros mismos. ¡Qué triste cultura de "aculturación" de todas las expresiones artísticas en este país! Y siempre optando por "productos importados" con el discurso infame y superficial de que lo mejor se encuentra en los países "desarrollados", dando a entender que somos salvajes incapaces de expresarnos creativamente. Este blog me ha brindado, día tras día, una confirmación ejemplar de que, en efecto, existen grandes bandas de rock and roll brasileñas poco conocidas que han caído y siguen cayen...

ResponderEliminarTheir lone (only one album) with 1972 this German hard rock outfit with an English vocalist,combined elements from multiple extant and budding rock subgenres to construct their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal.
Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
