La historia del rock progresivo español no puede comprenderse plenamente sin detenerse en la figura de Jordi Colomer. Aunque su nombre nunca alcanzó la popularidad de otros músicos de su generación, su trabajo con Iceberg constituye una de las aportaciones más refinadas y musicales de la batería progresiva española de los años setenta. Jordi Colomer nació en 1949, en Tarragona, y falleció el 10 de abril de 2025, a los 75 años, en su ciudad natal, tras una larga enfermedad crónica. Su desaparición supuso la pérdida de uno de los bateristas más elegantes, musicales y técnicamente sólidos que ha dado el rock español. Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
