Tras la grabación del volumen four la máquina reblandecida optó por expulsar imagino que de manera poco agradable a su batería y voz Robert Wyatt lo que restó originalidad y lo apartó de la esencia pop bizarra típica del estilo. Los Soft sin Wyatt se convertirían en una cámara frigorífica de jazz-rock intelectualoide como ya os comenté con anterioridad. El deambular de músicos por esa zona geográfica era la norma habitual y prácticamente se extendió toda la década y la infidelidad incestuosa entre bandas, una constante. Como ya expliqué raro era llegar a grabar más de dos discos en estudio por parte de cada formación de la escena. A veces uno y otras ni siquiera eso. La impresión que siempre he tenido sobre este movimiento surgido en el este de Inglaterra es la falta de seriedad y desdén por parte de todos los músicos implicados. ResponderEliminarTheir lone (only one album) with 1972 this German hard rock outfit with an English vocalist,combined elements from multiple extant and budding rock subgenres to construct their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal.
Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
