The Bluestones lograron la proeza —toda una hazaña para un grupo extranjero de blues— de alcanzar el puesto número 1 en las listas especializadas de Blues/Rock en Estados Unidos en el año 2020 con su álbum Live on Stage. No sería la última vez: en 2023 volvieron al Top 3 con «Unchained». La banda se formó en 2011 de la mano del vocalista Nico De Cook, un cantante que se había iniciado en el coro de la iglesia y que no se dedicó profesionalmente a cantar hasta los 32 años de edad debido a su miedo escénico. Junto a los guitarristas Stef Paglia y Andy Aerts, el bajista Ronald Burssens y el baterista Dominique Christens, conformaron la alineación inicial del grupo. ResponderEliminarTheir lone (only one album) with 1972 this German hard rock outfit with an English vocalist,combined elements from multiple extant and budding rock subgenres to construct their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal.
Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
