Continuando con la heroica saga musicóloga de 5 Lunas, llegamos hoy hasta el Volumen 8. En un principio se pensó en editar 10 álbumes, en un profundo estudio sin precedentes. El tiempo nos dirá si no se amplia. Desde luego la labor sigue siendo tan meritoria como gratificante. Entramos al trapo, que como ya es habitual, aquí hay miga de la buena. Glazz, desde Cádiz, proponen desde el 2006 una suerte de trío prog en donde diversos estilos (jazz rock, funk, soul), tienen cabida. Cinco discos hasta la fecha, dos en estudio, tres de improv-music. El último grabado en Japón. Empedernidos viajeros, han tocado en las ruinas romanas de Baelo Claudia, como unos Floyd gaditanos. Ahora son un cuarteto, con la entrada reciente de un teclista. Y un nuevo capítulo comienza para ellos. Su "Stressereo" (4'42) es un tema inédito que nos presenta a una sólida formación llena de recursos y cercanías Crimson, Arachnoid o en ciertos momentos, Difícil Equilibrio. Pero Glaz...

ResponderEliminarTheir lone (only one album) with 1972 this German hard rock outfit with an English vocalist,combined elements from multiple extant and budding rock subgenres to construct their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal.
Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
