CROWN LANDS - Apocalypse (2026 / Inside Out)
Puede que "Apocalypse" rompa al fin "el maleficio" que arrastran los canadienses Crown Lands en Europa. Discos de difícil localización, en mil formatos, caros como griales psych 60s.....Y cuando consiguen un contrato de distribución europea, les da la vena Zen y la cagan bien cagada. "Ritual I & II" (2025) era un somnífero truño new age de difícil tragadera. Yo creo que no le gustó a nadie. A mí, ni ver. Sinceramente, los daba ya por perdidos para la causa. Pero el dúo formado por Kevin Comeau (guitarras, bajo, Taurus pedals, MiniMoog, Oberheim OB6, Mellotron y otros sintes) y Cody Bowles (voz fuera de éste mundo, batería, percusión, ney, flauta), parece que levantan cabeza. O será que se han aclarado las ideas, desde que giraron con los también canadienses y poderosamente emergentes, Brass Camel . Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
