El Columbia City Theater situado en Seattle, Washington, fue construido entre 1920 y 1923. Originalmente era una tienda de dulces para posteriormente convertirse en un teatro de vodevil y, finalmente, en un cine. Durante la década de los 40, por su escenario pasaron las figuras mas relevantes del jazz, Ella Fitzgerald y Duke Ellington, entre otras muchas. Jimi Hendrix también descargó su energía en ese escenario. En 2022, fue comprado por Rainier Avenue Radio y The Cultural Space Agency. Phil Brown nace en San Francisco, California en 1950. Su primer contacto con un instrumento fue con un destartalado banjo de seis cuerdas. Mas adelante recibe clases de violín y, cuando todavía era un niño, le compra a un amigo suyo una guitarra por cincuenta centavos. ResponderEliminarTheir lone (only one album) with 1972 this German hard rock outfit with an English vocalist,combined elements from multiple extant and budding rock subgenres to construct their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal.
Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
