Con la marcha definitiva de Wyatt diremos adiós al sonido “naif-caprichoso-inventivo” de la banda que se meterá al estudio para grabar en una línea “jazz-free-fusión” perfecta para escuchar en una cámara frigorífica a menos 21 grados centígrados o en un viaje interminable en el trans - siberiano sin calefacción. También será el último disco del extraordinario Elton Dean. En esta ocasión será Phil Howard y John Marshall los encargados de sacudir los parches y repicar platos uno en cada cara del vinilo. El bajista ex-“Delivery” Roy Babbington entrará también a formar parte del elenco tocando el contrabajo acústico en un par de piezas. Este trabajo tendrá división de opiniones. En mi caso fue de los primeros discos que tuve de Soft Machine y le tengo aprecio, aunque reconozco que necesitas abrigo estufa y pasamontañas para escucharlo. El volumen five es un témpano de hielo. ResponderEliminarTheir lone (only one album) with 1972 this German hard rock outfit with an English vocalist,combined elements from multiple extant and budding rock subgenres to construct their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal.
Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
