Sí, este fue el primer y legendario álbum de los valencianos Zarpa . Poco después de hacerlo, acortarían, quitando lo de "Rock". Antes, en 1977, unos chavales de 16-18 años soñaban planes con su recién creado grupo, Wolframio, allá en su natal Mislata. Poco se imaginaban que en un año, por ésos azares de la vida, conseguirían plasmar su "Los 4 Jinetes del Apocalipsis". Algo difícil de conseguir por entonces. Con pesados amplis Sinmarc y batería Honsuy. Lo normal para los grupos de aquel tiempo. En un estudio donde nunca se había grabado rock, y menos de aquel. Y en un sólo día. A pleno directo, Zarpa hacían realidad una utopía para cualquier joven banda de entonces. Si bien es cierto que sólo salió en cassette, la cual vendían en sus conciertos. Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
