A día de hoy al igual que otras muchas cosas, está tan desvirtuado todo que creo conveniente aportar algo de luz, para que los tipos de estilos progresivos y sus alegres etiquetas caprichosas no se mezclen entre el exceso de propuestas que aparecen y que además la gente más joven no se pierda constantemente en un mar de confusión. Dando por hecho que por un milagro de la sensibilidad y la sensatez opte por escuchar una música que tenga unas directrices muy concretas. Todo ello con el fin de que se aclare algo y diferencie lo que es una banda de “rock” y lo que es una banda “prog”. Las líneas están hoy tan desdibujadas y con tanta especia artificial para disimular el sabor que la confusión es fácil tenerla si te estás iniciando en ello y desde luego la información y las múltiples etiquetas que ponen a cada producto no ayuda a ello. ResponderEliminarTheir lone (only one album) with 1972 this German hard rock outfit with an English vocalist,combined elements from multiple extant and budding rock subgenres to construct their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal.
Blackwater Park is an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene. They released their unique album "Dirt Box" in 1971, published on BASF in 1972. The group delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are part of the mix. His British singer had a strong voice. Especially the third and heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney,with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966.
(Accessible) kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors. "Dirt Box" has been recently reissued on CD by record labels Second Battle.
Excelente banda!!!. La conoci el año pasado. Tienen una mezcla de progresivo, toques de bules y hard. Las piezas Indian summer, rock song,mental block y Dirty face muy buenas!!!
